Director / Writer, Faraway, So Close is a compelling, contemporary theatre piece, exploring the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Britain’s legacy in the region and what this might mean for British citizens today. At times hard-hitting, at times humorous and playful, Faraway, So Close weaves together sound, film and symbol with a physical-theatre storytelling style that immerses audiences in aspects of this complex conflict.
Faraway, So Close premiered at the Old Fire Station Theatre, Oxford on 5th and 6th December 2014 and was developed with the generous support of Arts Council England, Oxford City Culture Fund, CREATE, Oxford Dance Forum, Lush, Seedbed and many individual donors who supported the GoFundMe campaign.
