In a smoky 1920’s bar mysterious characters mingle among gathered guests as the Angel of Darkness rises to dance a deathly duet with the boss, dispatching his body to a Nordic ritual in the woods, ablaze with fire. Elsewhere a never-ending chorus of Walter Whites hold aloft swords, rings and gauntlets as they guide guests through rituals of death and rebirth in this hotel of dreams. Lakeside, an assembly of white-robed guests dance away their demons on the catwalk of love as the Age of Aquarias dawns.

Escape from the Past was an immersive theatre experience uniquely designed for a corporate client to achieve a range of psychological and team-based goals. It blended film, theatre, dance, gaming, ritual and comedy to create a unique, immersive event for 85 players that took place over two days in a bespoke hotel in the Swedish woods.
